ASAM 490: Mental Health, Asian Americans & Community Engagement

REGISTER TODAY TO GAIN THE OPPORTUNITY TO WORK WITH ERASING THE DISTANCE AND LOCAL
AAPI COMMUNITY ACTIVISTS THIS FALL, 2012!

Collect true stories in a docu-drama style and see them brought to life by a company of of professional actors. Utilize community engagement techniques and be a force for change on- and off-campus.
Help to break down the stigma and taboo around mental health issues in the Asian American community.
Work with us to educate and spark healing around issues like depression and suicide in the context of immigration status, deportation, domestic violence, human trafficking, hate crimes, family and academic pressures, and health disparities.
Meeting Day and Time: Wednesdays, 3:00pm-5:45pm
